With a few weeks to Mother's Day, I do recommend these as the perfect practical gifts. Not only are they pretty to look at, they are also very effective. I've tried quite a few Jurlique's products and I do rate them highly.

Review Of The Jurlique Balancing Mist Intense Deluxe Edition
This is a special limited edition of Jurlique's Rosewater Balancing Mist (intense). This is version 8. It is very ornamental, beautiful, and luxurious. The bottle is a gorgeous lavender pink topped off with rose gold. I think it provides a very good sensorial experience.
This mist works for all skin types and is particularly helpful if you have dry dehydrated skin.
Whenever I use this, I feel instantly transported to my maternal grandmother's garden in Singapore. Gran was by no means a good gardener but she was very fond of roses and I think the roses felt fond of her too. I think the scent of her roses were intensified by the heat and humidity.
The Rosewater Balancing Mist is Jurlique's global #1 best seller.
It not only hydrates but also soothes and softens the skin. Its ingredients also work to give you a glow. It is extremely refreshing. I usually like to keep mine in the fridge in Summer and will mist myself down with this. It also helps me de-stress. I remember keeping a bottle of this in my office when I used to work as a lawyer (imagine me misting myself down at 2 am trying to meet ridiculous 7 a.m. deadlines with conference calls in between).
Another feature that I love is that the nozzle of this mist has been designed to produce a very fine mist, which makes it all the more enjoyable.
It smells refreshing. The rose scent is naturally derived from the four types of roses they use. It is basically the same as sticking your nose right into a very fine rose. It is not cloying. Some products that are artificially fragranced to smell likes roses, are cloying - to me, its sickly sweet and I can smell a fake rose scent a mile off.
You can easily add this to you skincare regime. As the "skincare application" rule goes, apply the lightest product to the heavier. So, as part of my nighttime skincare routine, I use this after cleansing and toning. I then add whatever additional products I need depending on my skin during that time period.
The ingredients used are simple and the roses are harvested BY HAND from Jurlique's own rose farms. I can so imagine the diligent workers wearing white silk gloves carefully and delicately plucking each rose. I honestly don't know about the white silk gloves bit but I get the sense that each rose is cherished and handled with a lot of love.

Rose Gallica Flower Extract: prized for its hydrating, softening balancing properties.
Rosa Centifolia Extract: this tones and refreshes your skin helping to rejuvenate it.
Marshmallow Root Extract: this is the mucilage (thick, gluey substance) from marshmallow roots. It is also has hydrating, softening and balancing properties.
Marshmallow root has been used to relieve pain and swelling because of its anti-inflammatory properties. It is also known to be particularly good for chapped skin. (Click here for source)

Review of Jurlique's Restoring Hand Wash and Hand Lotion Lemon Geranium & Clary Sage
These are fairly new to Jurlique's collection of luxe hand care.
Can I be honest? I now hide these just for my use. I leave the ordinary boring stuff on each wash basin for my husband and guests. Uhmmm... call me selfish. I really don't care.
I have horrible hands. They are covered in scabs and rashes. I do a lot of work with my ends so I'm not so "precious" about my hands.
First off, I would say that the scent of these products are not overpowering. They have a light and refreshing scent to them. I personally really like the smell of lemons, geraniums and sage (I don't think I have come across a fresh version of clary sage). So all mixed together is very cool for me.
I don't know if you know this, but some people burn sage to "cleanse the house". I actually do that when I get super paranoid (no I would not say I an a new age hippie wicca type - just when I am super paranoid, like right now, as you are reading this, I'm probably going a round the house with a bunch of burning sage). So I connect that idea of sage with the elegant white and gold packaging = Purity. For more about burning sage to bring in positive energy, click here.
As hand washes go, the Jurlique Restoring Hand Wash Lemon, Geranium and Clary Sage does the work without stripping away the moisture on my skin. I don't get that tight feeling from using it. You really don't need much (but then I think that is my "hoarder-ness" coming through).
The Jurlique Restoring Hand Lotion Lemon, Geranium and Clary Sage is equally pleasant to use. It is light and absorbs really quickly. It goes to work immediately and my hands do not leave icky oil spots on my phone or pieces of paper after I have just applied them. I really enjoy the lotion, so I do use it through out the day. When I rub my fingers against each other they feel "oh so silky smooth".
For a full sensorial experience, cup your hands together in brief in the essential oils. The fragrance is naturally derived from lemon, geranium and clary sage they use.

Calendula Flower Extract: sourced from Jurlique's organic Australian farm, this is rich in oleanolic acid and antioxidants. It also has soothing properties which is good if you have sensitive skin. Calendula Flower Extract skincare products are very much loved and treasured around the World.
