The rouge unlimited in "urban rose". This is a gorgeous shade that I think would suit most skin tones. It applies smoothly and is fairly moisturising. This has a matte finish. It is not what I would describe as "long lasting". While I was testing it, it did stay on for about 2-3 hours, without eating but with drinking something. It did fade gradually into a pretty even tint.

HUGE Selling point (for me), is the packaging. How cute is the Shu Bear silhouette??? I need to get more.

As you can see from there photo above, there are 3 other shades, one of which is a prismatic one called "sheer cherry in prism" (on the far right above). You can wear it as a lip topper or on its own. I did swatch it in store and really liked it. I regret not buying it. I think I might go and buy that one.

I am SO in love with this eyebrow manicure. The eyebrow manicures are Shu Uemura's version of a tinted brow gel. This is in the shade "bright maroon". It is such a gorgeous dark purply-red with a slight metallic sheen. Very pretty. I even wear it as an eyeliner, smudged out.

There are three shades in the lasting gel pencils for this collection. There are really cool. They work by a twist-click system, so be careful not too click too much as you will end up wasting product. I found mine to be the perfect shade for it. I received "amber brown". These pencils glide on so well, and you can achieve a very fine line.

There are two other shades in the eyebrow manicures in this collection, there is "marine blue" and "deep lilac". They have the same metallic shimmery shade to them. Very pretty!

I received these two pastel shades. The drawing pencils in "M yellow 31" & "M pastel mint 53. I do like Shu Uemura's drawing pencils because they are very pigmented, smooth (usually) and extremely long lasting. Unfortunately, these two (whilst) very pretty, did drag on my eyes and it was near impossible for me to draw a clean line. Once the Shu Uemura drawing pencils set, you can can't blend them out. With these two, there was hardly any "work time" and they ended up looking very dry on me. I just do not know what I did wrong. I tried these out on a number of different eye primers but they did not apply on my eyes as smoothly as they swatched on my hands.

There are five more shades in the drawing pencils. I really like the blue and the reddish tones. While I was creating the looks you see above, I used the mint and yellow shades. I Also used the orangey gold from last year's Shu x Mario collection and a pink one from the year before (Shu x Kitsune).

I am completely OBSESSED with Shu Uemura's eyefoils. They are Shu Uemura's liquid eyeshadows. I have every single one that Shu Uemura has released (yah, hurray for me).

These prismatic ones are very different from the original formula.

In what way, you might ask? Well, these are more sheer and rightly so, as they give off that prismatic look. I find that they work best layered on a more opaque base. There are three. The one above is "Gold in Prism" which I was gifted. I bought the remaining 2 (below) as I loved how pretty the gold one looked.

You can use it on your face as a highlighter. I like to use these in the middle of my eyes, at the brow bone, and inner corner of my eyes. If applied all over the eye, you get a subtle sheen that intensifies depending on what angle your eyes are seen at. Yes, that is the "prismatic" look. All of them do have a colour shift. The Gold in Prism, has a pinkish undertone.

This is "Cherry in Prism". This one has a rose gold undertone with flecks of lavender. They all have micro glitters in them. They apply very wet on the eyes and there is a bit of work time. I would recommend using a brush to pick up the eyeshadow as I find the applicator a bit too big for my eyes if I want a more precise application. They do set fairly quickly, so blend it out as fast as you can or you will get an odd patch of colour that looks dry. The original formulas are different, they have a good length of work time and blend out beautifully and are opaque.

This is "Green in Prism". It has a pink undertone/shift to it. I love how this looks on a dark brown, olive or gold base. Very pretty and different.

I found it hard to photograph the beautiful "prismatic-ness" of these three eyefoils. They are so pretty in real life. I have live swatches on the highlights named "Swatches" on the profile page of my Instagram (click here to got there).

Get ready for lots of swatches.

From left to right: "Cherry in Prism"; "Green in Prism" and "Gold in Prism". These were photographed against a velvet black background.

Ohh this powder is so shiny and gorgeous. This is the shimmery powder in "flash in pink". Depending on how you apply it, it works as both a blush and a highlighter. If you apply it with strokes, it comes off as a blush. Otherwise it looks like a highlighter. It is extremely finely milled, so be careful once you remove the plastic seal inside!

While this is meant to look pink, you can clearly see the gold prismatic shift in the swatch above.

Some eye looks that I created above. It was kinda hard for me to capture all of that prismatic goodness, as I was taking selfies. I think they would have come out better if I had some help. :P

The rouge unlimited in "urban rose" is pretty on its own, but with the shimmery powder on top, I was blown away! It is eye catching and yet subtle and elegant. Just the way I like it.

I usually do daily demos of anything I fancy on my Instagram (@teacupofmakeup) and I'm now on Vero under "Teacup of Makeup". So follow me there. I'm quite excited about Vero as it does (currently) allow me to post up to 5 min long videos.
